You’ve been hired as a wilderness expert. Your employer is the child of a wealthy dwarf. The job is to accompany the father as he goes out to hunt owlbears.
Nevermind that you’re not familiar with the distant forested mountains known as the Owlbear Wilds, the dwarf that hired you barely seem interested if you have any wilderness experience. It’s almost as if they’d be prefer if their father was ripped to shreds by an owlbear.
But don’t worry, this dwarf has many children. Some of these children, you hear, have sent real wilderness experts to join this crazy expedition, certainly some of them will be familiar with the area.
